About these terms

These terms apply to every order on this site. HappyStarters is a trade name of Stefan van Dockum, Populierstraat 10, 5271 NX Sint-Michielsgestel. By paying for an order you accept them.

What we sell

Physical products, which we send to you, and digital products, which you buy per event or session. There are no subscriptions: you pay once for what you order. We describe and show every product as accurately as we can; small differences in colour or finish are possible.

Ordering

Your order is placed when you pay in the checkout. You then get an email with your order and the invoice. In the rare case that we cannot deliver, we tell you as soon as we know and refund you in full.

Prices and VAT

Prices on the site show with 21% Dutch VAT by default; you can switch them to show without VAT. The VAT you actually pay is worked out in the checkout, from the country you deliver to. Businesses in another EU country with a valid VAT number pay no Dutch VAT (reverse charge). Volume prices apply to every unit of a line: twenty tables are all charged at the price for twenty.

Paying

You pay in the checkout, by iDEAL, card, Bancontact or bank transfer, through our payment provider Stripe. If you pay by bank transfer, we handle your order once the payment has arrived.

Delivery

We send physical products to the address you give in the checkout. Shipping is one fixed amount per order, by the country you deliver to, and shown in the cart before you pay. Order in good time before your event; if you have a deadline, mail us before you order. Outside the EU, customs charges may apply; the receiver pays them.

Digital products

A digital product is for the event or session you bought it for. After your order we set it up for your date and send you what you need, such as the codes for your tables. You may not resell it.

Changing your mind (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer, you may cancel a physical order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Mail us, then send the products back unused within 14 days; the return shipping is yours to pay. We refund what you paid, including the original shipping, within 14 days of receiving the products back.

• This right does not apply to products made to your own design or with your own text.
• For a digital product, it ends once we start delivering it with your consent, for example when we set it up for your event.
• If you buy as a business, there is no right to change your mind; mail us and we will see what we can do.

Something wrong?

If something arrives broken, incomplete or not as described, mail us within 14 days of delivery, with a photo if you can. We replace it or refund you, and pay the return shipping.

Your account

You don't need an account to order. If you make one, you can see your orders in it, and delete it at any time from the account page.

Liability

If we make a mistake, we are liable for at most the amount of the order concerned, unless the damage was caused on purpose or through gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as an event that goes differently than hoped. This does not limit any right you have as a consumer by law.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. Mail us first if you have a complaint; we answer within 14 days. If we cannot solve it together, the court in the Netherlands that has jurisdiction decides. As a consumer you keep the protection of the law of the country you live in.

Changes

We may change these terms. The terms that applied on the day you ordered stay in force for that order.
